All UHS Respiratory Therapy positions accept entry-level experience. All applicable positions require a registered Respiratory Therapist license from the NYS Office of the Professions and successful completion of an associate degree from a CoArc-accredited school.

All UHS Respiratory Therapy departments coordinate with an RT inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) navigator, allowing for patients with pulmonary diseases to be followed across the continuum of care. Pulmonary Rehab, OP PFT, sleep center, and Homecare (PCH/DME) all employ Respiratory Therapists that work together to educate and care for our patients.
